Our story

Rooted in community.

Vivery Community was founded in 2021 on a simple belief: everyone deserves access to nutritious food — and the support they need to thrive.

Since then, we've grown into a leading food equity organization — convening healthcare providers, community organizations, charitable food providers, government agencies, and local leaders across Chicago's South and West Sides.

Together, we've delivered more than 500,000 meals and connected thousands of neighbors to nutritious food and essential support services.
